Hello, everyone! My name is Koroleva Lubov and I am a Minin university graduate. I’ve completed the major “Russian as a Foreign Language” and now I work in China and teach Russian to Chinese students. I really love Russian language, our culture, literature, but even more I like to see how people from other countries get interested in Russian culture, how they start speaking our native language. I got this opportunity thanks to my university. Minin university helped me to realize the value of the Russian language and I’ve learned how to teach Russian to foreign students. Among all the disciplines, the most important and interesting for me was "Scenic Speech". Why I liked this subject most of all? Because due to this discipline I understood that teacher is not just a person who stands near the blackboard. A teacher is an ideal, a role model that everyone is guided by. It is especially important while forming phonetic skills in the early stages of training of all students. I would also like to mention practical trainings at Minin university. In my opinion, Minin university provides a large number of practical trainings to its students, so that we can fully understand what it’s like to be a teacher of Russian as a foreign language. I was lucky enough to undertake my trainings at Minin university and I also enjoyed spending time with foreign students at the University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. What else would I like to say? Being a teacher of Russian as a foreign language is very difficult; it is not easy. This profession demands a lot of responsibility. But despite all these moments, I can definitely say that this work is extremely interesting and incredibly exciting. Having received the diploma, I was able to move to another country, work with other people and introduce them to my native culture. I teach them how to speak my native language, and this gives me unbelievable pleasure and satisfaction.
